..."What's the point?" he asked... and i shrugged my shoulders... and i felt bad... not because i couldn't convince him "why do people blog?" ... i felt bad because he missed the point after getting so excited about it in the first place... and then i pondered over it... why do people blog?... why do i blog?...
... i was very excited last week... i was "going to my native" as they say in this part of our country... although the worst way to ask that is "tum gaon jaa rahe ho?" ... i used to give "WTF?" expression when asked like that... now i am at peace... and i smile and nod in the peculiar way the locals do... it's like those 'dancing' dolls they used to sell at traffic lights some years ago... i told them "baba i am from dilli, it's not a 'Gaon'" ... but then they never bothered to correct themselves...
... "For Ten days!?!?!?" he (almost) fell from his seat... "Seven actually!" i said sheepishly... and then i realised he was trying to look at the calender at the far side of the Hall... "Shaadi karne jaa raha hai kya?" ... i was red! ... and i wasn't blushing... i was getting irritated... "theek hai!" ... and i walked out of the cabin...
... for the first time in my life i was flying in the nite... and to top it all... i had no idea if it was G'gn or D'li!!... and i had a Nano waiting to pick me up... arriving @ airport never felt so good! ;-)
