..."There's people that good things happen to. And there's people that good things don't happen to. That's just the way it goes"...

... have you ever met a 'friendly' stranger who later became a good friend may be even an integral part of your life? ... someone who was travelling with you in a train journey... whom you met in the hospital when u visited along with a friend or relative... i am not being specific to a situation... during bus rides maybe (... and i have taken loads of bus rides...) ... i mean anyone met anywhere ...

... alright ... let me rephrase ... when was the last time you were 'friendly' to a stranger? ... that guy who was buying a mobile phone and you could hear him ask silly questions ... 'gee! what is he asking!' ... in that mall... when u saw this lady trying to figure out which one of her choices is right...

... remember your first time in school? ... your 'primary' classes?? ... and all those people with whom you spent years together... in that school... and perhaps even later... college together? ... then got job in same company?? (... a bit unlikely but still...) ...

... how is one thing different than other... i guess we become complacent once we start living with of 'near and dear' ones... we take comfort in this feeling that we have an 'established' network of F&Fs that we can always lean on... draw our energy from ... and once this mental stage is reached we start growing old... not only physically ... mentally ... spiritually ... psychologically...
... and then... this chill starts haunting us... 'what if?' ...

... why can't we 'intrude' with a polite 'excuse me' and give some nugget of our gyan to that stranger? ... and why can't we pull off that genuine smile which arise from the comfort of "thank god! a 'friend' helped me out on this one"... when intruded by that friendly stranger?...

... i guess i am just happy that SSC is now no longer 'on-site' ... and i am happy that i will be getting my Indica Vista tomorrow... and i need some sleep now ... and i guess i am missing my family...
